Father Joseph Barbieri, judicial vicar for the Diocese of San Angelo, publicized the following message Nov. 20, 2025:

Dear Monsignor/Father, Deacons and All Advocates,

Due to the rising postal rates that are incurred for each of our cases as well as the increasing costs of office supplies, effective January 1, 2026, the cost for processing a Formal Case Petition for a Declaration of Invalidity will increase from $100 to $125.

As before, if the Petitioner cannot afford the fee, the Tribunal can make accommodations.

Let us continue to pray for all who seek our services and for all who are advocates for God’s people.
